Its scientific name is Dracula simia. this species of orchidaceous plant, capably named the Monkey Face orchidaceous plant (Dracula simia), was created once Mother Nature set to try to do a small amount of monkeying around (hah!). These rare monkey orchids only grow in the cloud forests of southeastern Ecuador and Peru at elevations of 1,000-2,000 meters on the side of mountains.
